Who are we?
Vortex Events brings virtual teams together for memorable virtual experiences which improve team performance, engagement, and culture. And we help them have a lot of fun while doing it!
Our team is made of award-winning game designers and business consultants who have come together to improve how teams connect remotely. In tandem with our virtual experiences, we also provide consulting, team feedback, and concrete action plans to improve team performance and engagement.
After originally opening as Fantasy Escape Games in 2020, and after an experimental rebrand to Great Team Building, we have rebranded as Vortex Events, where we plan to continue expanding our offerings beyond our original escape room games. You may find both logos on press websites and in old trailer videos – rest assured that we are the same team of hosts, designers, and business consultants.
We have proudly hosted 2,000+ teams, earned 500+ five-star reviews across the internet, and won three Bullseye awards for our experiences. While grateful for all our success so far, we continue to strive to make our experiences better and better, always delivering your team a great experience.

Our Accolades
We have received many awards for our escape room team building events. This includes three BULLSEYE Awards from ESCAPETHEROOMers. These are internationally competitive awards, given to the best games around the globe each year. Games can win these awards only in the year in which they first opened.
In 2020, Ghosts of Craven Manor won a “Best Game” award, given to the best virtual game during the year of the pandemic.
In 2021, Space Defenders won the “Best Cooperative Game” award, and was hailed as being “perfect for corporate training.” To this day, our 90 minute Space Defenders event is the only game that allows large teams to work together as an entire company while maintaining a lot of responsibility as an individual.
