Every Quarter

Your card will be charged every 3 months, after which your account will receive one event credit. After the charge, we will email you and remind you to book your event for the quarter. Can’t make it during the quarter? Event credits last up to a year after the charge, so you can always book later. If you would prefer to book a whole year of events all at once, consider checking out our Four Event Bundle.

You will be able to book your event once a quarter, when your card is charged. We will send you a reminder to make sure you know it’s time to book a date and time!

You can pause your subscription anytime, and restart it when your team is ready to come back together.

Event credits granted to your account for any given quarter last up to a year, so you can always book an extra event later!

If you’ve already booked an event you can’t make, please email us at hello@vortexevents.online or call us at 213-788-6568. Up to a week in advance, we will reschedule your event free of charge!

No worries! Up to 7 days before an event, we can change your headcount to reflect your new team size.

If your team size decreases by more than a few people, you’ll be credited for the difference.

If your team size increases by more than a few people, you can choose to add additional participants in for just one event for a per player fee, or to upgrade your subscription at a discounted price for the rest of the year to include them in all your events.

Quarterly Membership events are our standard 60 minutes long, with 30, 45, and 90 minute long versions of each event available upon request.

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from the “Membership and Bundle Management” page. You can also email us at hello@vortexevents.online for any help you might need with the cancellation.

The quarterly membership program is the best pricing we offer. While other companies charge $50/person or more for a single event, we’re confident this is the best deal you’ll find for consistently great events.

Because we’re priced per person, we’re confident that you’re getting the best deal, no matter your team size!

If your team changes size, let us know! Up to 7 days before an event we can edit your subscription to reflect your new team size.

We’ll make sure to send you reminders when it’s time to book your events. Event credits granted to your account for any given quarter last up to a year, so you can always book your events later!

If we don’t hear back from you enough times, we’ll make sure to cancel your subscription.

Our live actor will tailor the experience to your team as it continues. Additionally, we can recommend various events based on your past experience with us, and always make sure your event is the right fit for your team!

Looking for something a little more special? We can add in players’ names into the challenges! Pick a phrase you want to show up during the event! Have your company’s logo become an important part of an adventure! Every game has additional special customization options available for a small additional charge. Members who sign up before June 30, 2024 get free customizations on their first event. 

Our puzzles are designed to be engaging and completable by any team. Additionally, your host can help tailor any puzzles on the fly to match your team’s skill level.

Additionally, our hosts are able to provide an unlimited number of hints to make sure you never get stuck.

Puzzles will always be rewarding, but not so difficult that you might get stuck.

Yes! We can host events on any platform. While we recommend Zoom as it has special host broadcast controls that makes your event run more smoothly, we have hosted events on Google Meets, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, and more. 

You can pre-pay for a whole year, or pay quarterly! We’re flexible.

Though our automated system signs you up automatically for quarterly payments, you can contact us about an invoice to pay for your team for the whole year at once (or however many quarters you’d like) if preferred.
